The small instrument panel of the Cinquino has been replaced by a 5 “digital display showing the battery charge status, speed and other informations, while the seats, entirely handmade, have been created by weaving a specific natural rope for outdoor use.
The aesthetic has remained the same of the Jolly of the last century, except for some details. The headlights are the original but with a LED lighting system, while the vehicle’s charging socket is hidden under the front grille.
For the bodywork we give imagination freedom thanks to the partnership with Basf-RM Paint.
No crazy runs, the Jolly Icon-e is made to relax, but it’s designed for two speed modes, take a look at the gear knob: turtle or hare? You will be free to adapt your driving style to the mood of the day.
Via the roof and door compartment, the torsional rigidity of the car is maintained by the inclusion of a safety cell. The external protections, as well as the front and rear bumpers, are formed by hand.
The car maintains the original front and rear lights with the introduction of LED lamps for the front lights, ensuring better lighting. The fitted tyres are selected from the Vintage line by Michelin, Garage Italia’s partner in the Icon-e project.
The thermal engine is replaced with an electric motor developed in collaboration with Newtron Group, flanged directly on the original gearbox. The car is recharged through a type 2 socket installed under the front mask bearing the car’s trademark. Depending on the charging mode (domestic socket or electric column) the batteries can be fully recharged between 4 and 8 hours.
